An accommodation like a castle in Tuscany, a splendid ancient villa dating back to the 17th century situated in quiet and panoramic location on the hills surrounding San Gimignano with enchanting views of the Tuscan and Siena landscape.
This accommodation in Tuscany underwent important restorations during the past centuries until it was turned, by the actual owners, into a delightful country residence offering beautifully furnished interiors that allow their guests to enjoy a pleasant combination of old charm and contemporary design.
Some of the rooms of the villa are decorated with beautiful ancient frescoes typical of Siena region. The garden of the castle is decorated with charming fountains and ponds with red fishes and water-lilies giving a private and romantic atmosphere.
Distances: Poggibonsi with all kinds of shops 2 km, the lovely medieval town of San Gimignano 10 km, Siena 20 km, Florence 35 km.
At guests’ disposal: large romantic-style garden with century-old cypresses, lanterns and small paths, beautiful private swimming pool (15 x 7 m – maximum depth 1,85 m – open from 01/05 to 30/09) quietly situated approx. 50 m from the villa to guarantee full privacy, barbecue and small kitchen equipped for nice outdoor meals, toilet and open-air shower.
High-speed wireless internet connection available. Parking within the grounds. The access to the property is via a small unpaved but well-maintained country road. All of the bedrooms are provided with mosquito nets and fans.
Extra services: maid service available by arrangement.
Baby bed on request (free of charge). The rental price includes kitchen and bathroom cleaning 3 times a week (approx. 3 hours each time). High-speed wireless Internet connection available at € 100,- / per stay.
